THE JOB:
• Responsible for the delivery of work orders (TAT), productivity and work quality
• To lead, motivate and energize the crew in achieving set production targets
• Manage resources efficiently and effectively to achieve operational objectives
• Ensure the full compliance of the company’s quality system and airworthiness requirements at all times
• Responsible for driving Environmental, Health and Safety culture at the production floor
• Responsible for driving good work ethics and discipline and cultivate good working attitudes
• Ensure all shop floor activities comply with EHS requirements
• Communicate effectively to the production crew on company values and policies to enhance the understanding and gather feedback and ideas for improvement.
• Responsible for the production crews’ training and skills development
• Participate and establish On-The-Job Training system and to ensure sufficient training to new and existing employees before performing their job duties
• To administer leave and payroll etc
• Be an active participant in company-wide activities and act as a change agent to spearhead improvement projects
• Interface with Engineering/Quality/Facility to resolve operational issues with regard to productivity and quality
• Monitor the product/process yields and work with Engineering/Quality or other functional departments to develop improvement plans
• Establish shop floor data collection system to establish the foundation for accurate cost tracking mechanism for detail cost measurement and analysis
REQUIREMENTS:
• Diploma In Mechanical Engineering with at least 5-8 years of relevant experience or Degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering with at least 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma preferred
