Responsibilities:

• Develop functionality to meet defined business requirements (for Application Consultant role)
• Conduct unit testing of functionality to ensure compliance with business requirements (for Application Consultant role)
• Analyze problems and implement appropriate technical solutions (for Application Consultant role)
• Implement insurance solutions (for Application Consultant role)
• Provide business consulting services for IT insurance projects (for Business Consultant role)
• Analyze business process and definition of business requirements specifications (for Business Consultant role)
• Be the point-of-contact between internal technical staff and client business staff (for Business Consultant role)
• Conduct testing of functionalities to ensure compliance with business requirements (for Business Consultant role)
• Provide support to clients on model office/users acceptance testing (for Business Consultant role)
• Define and document scope changes during the project life cycle (for Business Consultant role)

Requirements:

• Previous experience in implementing insurance solutions (Life or Policy) is a MUST (for Application Consultant role)
• Preferably knowledge and experience in Cobol and/or SMART/400 (for Application Consultant role)
• Knowledge of AS/400 DB2 DBMS and OS/400 is an advantage (for Application Consultant role)
• Previous experience in Life or Policy insurance industry with minimum 2 years as a Business Analyst (for Business Consultant role)
• Been involved in an IT systems integration project or understand the software development life cycle (for Business Consultant role)
• Knowledge of conceptual and functional business process modeling (for Business Consultant role)
• Ability to interact with client business users in a professional manner
• Degree/Diploma holders or equivalent professional qualification in a related discipline
• Able to communicate effectively in English and one Asian language
• Able to travel for short and long-term work assignments within short notice
• Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team across multi-cultural environment
• Those who possess more related and relevant experience may be considered for more Senior positions
