Position:                              Java / J2EE Developer – Special Project

Reports to:                          Team Lead / Project Manager

Responsibilities:

-          Responsible for the development of banking application and all related systems.

-          Liaise with users and team lead and manager to understand functional requirements and architecture design.

-          Assist team lead and manager in preparing unit test cases and system test cases

-          Involved in ST, SIT and UAT testing activities

-          Provide support during implementation of software & systems

-          Analyse changes and impacts on existing application modules

-          Responsible for application development and undertaking application modules unit testing activities and application supports.

-          Ensure projects meets CMM and quality requirements

Essential Skills / Experience:

-          Having at least 2 to 5 years working experience in Java/J2EE development

-          Have solid Java, J2EE & experience in DB2 will be advantageous

-          With J2EE components on JMS, JDBC, INDI and worked on DAO design

-          Involved in application development activities eg: coding, testing & documenting

-          Able to convert & read UML diagrams into java code

-          Understand and apply Object Oriented Programming concepts

-          Experience in Linux AS3 & AS4 and unix OS

-          Experience in setup and maintaining IBM Websphere Application (WAS) environments will be added advantages
