  <DESCR><![CDATA[Essential Duties and   Responsibilities          Make        cold calls to our existing POS distribution customers, driving the        pull-through business back to the distributors    Identify,        research and conduct analysis on customers within the various vertical        markets.  Profile these customers to        develop applications for our products.    Work        closely with Marketing to develop pull through strategies within our        distribution channel.  This would        include trade shows, advertising, and MDF programs.    The        salesperson should be properly trained to sell the technical features of        the product as well as the value of buying for Company.    The        salesperson Ensure the customers see the value added of Company products over        competitive products.    Prepare        weekly call reports documenting the activity status within the accounts.    Set        target number of customer touches per day and document the activity in the        customer profile.    Coordinate        with Distributors to meet goals.          Other Duties          Extensive travel required within large regional        geographic territory to reach broad account base.      Qualifications          Bachelor’s        Degree in Business.       5 years industry sales        experience.      Proven        sales ability.      Entrepreneurial        attitude with ability to be a team player on all levels.      High        interpersonal competency.      High        level of initiative.      Excellent        oral and written communication skills.      ]]></DESCR>
